Supersonic Man is the Eurodisco hero we need

(CBS) - Who needs Superman when you can have Supersonic Man? Or: who needs an actual superhero when you can have this cheap 80's Italian knock-off with a ridiculous disco theme song?

Supersonic Man! Putting fear in the hearts of criminals with Balearic Eurodisco beats. But who is this masked hero? The low-budget action movie was made in 1980 by Juan Piquer Simon. Geek blog Io9 explains: "Supersonic Man was a joint Italian-Spanish production and featured a story so trite it barely deserves a mention."

Long story short, Supersonic Man saves the day - with a dance off! Not really. But he probably doesn't save anyone with his flying skills either. Shouldn't Supersonic Man be, like, fast?
