"Super 8" to get Thursday sneaks via Twitter
(CBS) If for some reason you can't wait until Friday to see J.J. Abrams' "Super 8," stick close to Twitter. Paramount and Twitter have joined together to host sneak previews of the sci-fi movie at 300 theaters, with 239 of those sites as IMAX locations.
According to The Hollywood Reporter,
"To plug the advance screenings, the companies have designated the hashtag #Super8Secret, which Paramount has also sponsored as a promoted trend, allowing Twitter's global user base a direct link to buy tickets."
Twitter and Paramount have partnered before over "Super 8." An exclusive trailer for the movie premiered on the site in March.
