Steve Johnson Blames (and Thanks) God after Miscue

Steve Johnson's post-game tweet

Buffalo Bills receiver Steve Johnson was inconsolable after dropping an easy game-winning catch against the Steelers on Sunday (Scroll down to see the play).

After the game, the poor guy tried to talk about the painful blunder.

"How would you feel?" Johnson said. "All of a sudden, when the biggest play needs to be made, you don't make it. You feel bad. I'm devastated right now."

"I had the game in my hands and then dropped it," Johnson said. "I'll never get over it. Ever."

But after leaving the locker room, Johnson decided to tack on one more comment via Twitter - not to reporters but to someone with more authority:

"I PRAISE YOU 24/7!!!!! AND THIS IS HOW YOU DO ME!!!!! YOU EXPECT ME TO LEARN FROM THIS??? HOW???!!! ILL NEVER FORGET THIS!! EVER!!! THX THO..."

At least Johnson was humble enough to sign off on his Dear God note with a "thx."

Presumably Johnson is tweeting to God himself, not the proverbial football gods. Either way, the post-game cry of desperation is almost as cringe-worthy as the dropped catch.
