Stars celebrate Carole King at tribute show
Katy Perry, Alicia Keys and Jack Nicholson were among those who attended a celebration of Carole King's career at her all-star tribute concert on Tuesday night.
Nicholson, Danny DeVito and Quincy Jones were the night's co-hosts at The Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
Legend sang "You've Got a Friend," and Perry covered King's "So Far Away." Vince Gill, Amy Grant, Darlene Love and Jesse McCartney performed as well.
Keys sang a duet with Keys on "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman."
Before the event King took to Twitter to express her gratitude:
The event benefited Paul Newman's The Painted Turtle Camp for children suffering from serious illness.
