Star Treatment For Depp

Actor Johnny Depp, whose latest film, Sleepy Hollow premieres Wednesday night, has been honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The 36-year-old, who plays Ichabod Crane in the upcoming movie based on a Washington Irving tale, received Hollywood Boulevard's 2,149th star on Tuesday, CBS station KCBS-TV reports. The star is at 7018 Hollywood Boulevard on the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel property.

Depp made his screen debut in Nightmare on Elm Street but gained fame only after he played one of the regulars on the popular TV series 21 Jumpstreet.

His other movies include Donnie Brasco, Edward Scissorhands, Benny & Joon, The Astronaut's Wife, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, and What's Eating Gilbert Grape?
