Star Jones Ready For "Law & Order: SVU"
Star Jones Reynolds is heading back to TV.
The former "View" co-host will guest star as a lawyer on the season finale of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," a rep for NBC confirmed to The ShowBuzz on Monday.
Rapper and actor Ludacris will also guest star in the episode that airs on May 22.
"'Law & Order: Special Victims Unit' is my favorite show on television, I have never missed an episode since its premiere," Jones Reynolds said in a statement released by the network. "When I was asked to appear on the show I immediately accepted the honor without hesitation. I am very excited to work alongside the incredibly talented cast and crew of 'Law & Order: SVU' as well as the brilliant Dick Wolf."
Back in December, Jones Reynolds, a lawyer in real life, told The Associated Press that she missed appearing on television.
"I miss the opportunity to connect," Reynolds said.
Jones Reynolds scored a temporary radio gig on syndicated radio late last year and told the AP she was producing a couple of specials, but would not give any details.
Jones has a handful of acting credits, including a guest-starring gig on the ABC sitcom "Less Than Perfect" in 2005 and a role on Lifetime's "Strong Medicine" in 2001.
