Spot TV data researcher SQAD has acquired ratings analysis software maker Wrapsidy. Terms were not disclosed. The purchase of Los Gatos, CA.-based Wrapsidy gives SQAD access to the company's measurement apps covering Nielsen overnight and sweeps-period TV spot ratings. The deal also demonstrates that while SQAD has tried to broaden its purview beyond TV to analyzing ad spending for radio and the internet, it is not forgetting about its roots. The deal was arranged by media investment banker DeSilva + Phillips. Release
