Sports director nearly run down while reporting on live TV
(CBS) - The basketball game he was reporting on may have been close, but the SUV about to hit him definitely came closer. Ben Higgins, the sport director for 10News out San Diego, was doing a live report from Tucson about the NCAA tournament when a white SUV slowly (but not that slowly) starts to creep towards him...
Luckily, Higgins' photographer jumped into action and intervened, stopping what was about to become a very dangerous situation. So you've got a reporter, a photographer, who knows how many other people in the production team, lights, a camera. Who was driving that SUV? Mr. Magoo?
