Spinnaker Media, a holding company for family-friendly media content, has acquire HearItFirst.com, a Christian music discovery site from EMI CMG (Christian Music Group). Launched in 2005, HearItFirst looks like any other music community site, with clips, interviews, videos, and other information about the artistsin this case it's specific towards popular Christian music. It claims 180,000 members and 600,000 unique visits per month. EMI CMG as well as Sony (NYSE: SNE) BMG Entertainment's Provident Music Group will continue to provide exclusive content and marketing support to the site.
