Spears Reportedly Attends AA Meeting

Britney Spears reportedly left rehab again last night, but just for a little while.

The troubled pop star went to a Alcoholics Anonymous meeting in Santa Monica, the photo agency X17 reports on its Web site.

The Web site TMZ reported Thursday that Spears returned to the Promises treatment center after the meeting.

A smiling and cheerful Spears, who was wearing a wig, hat and green jacket, stepped into a white SUV with another young woman, reportedly her assistant. Spears was also sporting a silver ring on her ring finger that has sparked rumors that she and Federline are back together.

A source close to Federline tells Us Weekly that once Spears recovers, "Kevin wants to get back together with her. He is her biggest supporter." To see photos, click here.

Federline reportedly gave Spears an ultimatum before she checked into rehab for the third time last week.

High-Profile Healing
A source told People magazine Wednesday that her ex was upset by the news that Spears had checked out of Promises in Malibu, so Federline and his lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, scheduled an emergency hearing to get custody of their young sons.

In a little over a week, the singer reportedly checked in and out and in and out and then in again to rehab, shaved her head and got tiny lips tattooed on her wrist. And this flurry followed months of late-night partying in Los Angeles and Las Vegas.

By entering Promises, Spears joined a long list of other celebrities who have trekked to the lush Malibu facility to overcome addictions. Promises alumni includes Ben Affleck, Charlie Sheen, Diana Ross and Matthew Perry. Treatment doesn't come cheap. A 30-day stay is $48,000.
