While the visit was centered on improving relations between the two countries, Princess Letizia didn't pass up the chance to show off her impeccable sense of style - something she is known for in Spain.
On their trip, Prince Felipe, who is heir to the Spanish throne, visited and spoke at the Global Business Colloquium at IESE Buisness School in New York. The two also toured the Cervantes Institute in New York after meeting with Hispanic leaders, reports the Examiner.
Later, they headed up to Boston where they visited the BIO International Convention and Felipe spoke at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, before heading back to the New York area.
In New York, Princess Letiza visited Emily Dickinson Primary school and read with the children. That night, the royal couple headed to New Jersey, where they attended the Inaugural Dinner for the XVII US-Spain Council Forum.
