Snazzy, Affordable Outfits for New Year's Eve

Want to ring in 2011 with glitz and glamour while staying budget-conscious?

Style contributor Katrina Szish hosted a fashion show on "The Early Show" Monday to spotlight styles that don't cost an arm and a leg and would make you look your finest.

For Katrina's own ensemble, she took a page from none other than style trend-setter Michelle Obama, who wore a second-hand gown for a recent televised Christmas concert. The black-lace overlay gown is said to have been the first vintage gown worn by a first lady to a public event, and was from New York Vintage in the Chelsea neighborhood in Manhattan:
