Siri's turning Japanese? That's what she says

Apple

(CBS) - The iPhone 4S' digital personal assistant Siri may have accidentally leaked new language skills.

Ask Siri what language it speaks the reply is, "I currently speak German, Japanese, French, and English." According to a screenshot posted at Apple Insider, it also says, "I'm studying some new languages, too."

Siri goes on the say, "You can change the language I'm using... just go to Siri settings," but you can't choose Japanese as a language option yet.

It's no secret that Apple has been planning to add language support for Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Italian and Spanish in 2012. The company has that information posted on its website.
