Sinise: Operation Iraqi Children

Gary Sinise is well known to film fans for memorable roles in movies like "Forrest Gump" and "Apollo 13."

Now he's bringing his considerable talents to the small screen on the latest CSI spinoff, "CSI: New York," which premieres tonight.

On Wednesday's The Early Show Sinise talks to co-anchor Hannah Storm about his new role as forensic detective Mack Taylor.

Sinise is a founder of "Operation Iraqi Children" and he tells us about that humanitarian program.

His feature film credits include "Forrest Gump," "Apollo 13," "Ransom," "The Green Mile," "The Human Stain," "Snake Eyes," "Impostor," "It's the Rage," "Reindeer Games," "The Forgotten," "Mission to Mars," "A Midnight Clear," "Of Mice and Men," "Albino Alligator," "Jack the Bear" and "The Quick and the Dead."
