Should you use a hands-free PowerPoint controller?

If you're a PowerPoint warrior who spends a sizable chunk of time pointing at slides on a screen, then you know the value of looking smart and sharp when you're presenting. You probably use the arrow keys on your laptop to advance slides. Perhaps you even have a laser pointer to highlight important details. But what if you had an accessory that let you do all that, pretty much hands-free?

The Ring Presenter, from Genius, looks like an interesting innovation in presentation gadgetry. Unlike the Mini Bluetooth Keyboard with Touchpad and Laser Pointer,a gargantuan laser pointer with a complete keyboard built in, which I told you about last year, this device doesn't draw much attention to itself. The Ring Presenter is, in fact, a ring that slips onto a finger. You can use it to control your PowerPoint slides, and like your cat's crazy dream, it also has a laser pointer.
