He faces a maximum sentence of more than 40 years in prison, reports CBS affiliate WFMY, but his expected sentence is between 12 to 16 years, according to District Attorney Gary Frank.

Craver and Chisom were said to both be attending a party last August before the incident. Chisom was sitting in the front passenger seat when she was hit by the stone. She died later at a local hospital from a "massive liver injury," the station reports.
