Sheep Truck Overturns; Dozens Clog N.J. Highway
All drivers could do was bleat on Interstate 80 near the New Jersey-Pennsylvania border Thursday morning.
A truck overturned and scores of sheep ended up loose on the highway.
Truck driver Marvin Raber told the Pocono Record that the he was driving from Ohio to a slaughterhouse in New York when his trailer flipped when he tried to change lanes.
Some sheep were put down after the crash.
It took about four hours before both eastbound lanes through Knowlton, just east of the Delaware Water Gap, reopened.
