Sharon Stone says no one asks her on dates

Does anyone want to ask out Sharon Stone on a date?

The "Basic Instinct" starlet told Harper's Bazaar that she never gets asked out.

"It's so stupid," she said. "I don't know what to do. I've been getting more brazen with flirting, but I don't think men realize that I'm flirting. They just think, Oh, she's fun!"

Stone suspects that perhaps people think she's a lesbian. Stone asked her assistant in front of the reporter, "Do you think people even realize I'm straight? I think they have questions about it because I have so many lesbian friends right now."

Stone, 57, bared her soul and her body to the magazine: She posed nude in several photos, and talked about the humiliation she felt when she forgot her lines on the set of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" in 2010. She told the magazine she had a near-fatal aneurysm in 2001 and a cerebral hemorrhage that left her with cognitive impairment -- Stone could not even read when she left the hospital nine days after he aneurysm.

But in spite of however humbled she may have felt during that time (Stone said working on the set of "SVU" was a struggle), she feels ready for a comeback. Stone is gearing up for her new TNT show "Agent X," which she will executive-produce and star in as vice president of the United States.

The Oscar-nominated actress from "Casino" seems to be in a stride. She told Bazaar that she still feels sexy, even if she thinks her derriere "looks like a bag of flapjacks."

"But I'm not trying to be the best-looking broad in the world," she said. "At a certain point you start asking yourself, 'What really is sexy?' It's not just the elevation of your boobs. It's being present and having fun and liking yourself enough to like the person that's with you."

Still, Stone wants to find a hot date. She pleaded to readers: "If there's anybody out there who's an adult and who would like to ask me out, please call Harper's Bazaar."
