Send Mammoth Files with Transfer Big Files
Need to send someone a really big file? Like, say, a two-gigger? YouSendIt won't cut it; it tops out at 100MB. Same for Driveway: It limits you to 500MB files. Looks like you'll need the aptly named Transfer Big Files, which lets you send files as large as 2GB. Fortunately, it's just as easy to use as most other services: You choose a file, choose a recipient, and click Send. The recipient receives an e-mail with a link for downloading the file. There's no limit to the amount of data you send (it just can't be more than 2GB at a time), and there's even a free DropZone utility you can install for drag-and-drop uploading and account management.
Services like these tend to come and go (or at least throttle back what they offer for free), but for now Transfer Big Files is just about unmatched when it comes to, well, transferring big files. [via Download Squad]
