Senators, Schieffer And Stimulus This Week On 'Washington Unplugged'

Its the economy, stupid. Well, its the economic stimulus bill, stupid. This week on 'Washington Unplugged', CBS News' venerable moderator Bob Schieffer will ask those decicing on the Recovery and Reinvestment Package what it will take to get the Senate to pass the legislation and what happens next.

Schieffer interviewed Sen. Olympia Snowe, R-Maine, who met privately with President Obama to express her concerns about the package this week, and Sen. Kent Conrad, D-N.D., chairman of the Senate Budget Committee.

This week we want you to be part of the discussion! Just email washingtonunplugged@cbs.com with your questions for Schieffer and the gang and be part of the show. We'll have CBS News' Chief White House Correspondent Chip Reid, the Atlantic's Marc Ambinder, also CBS News' Chief Political Consultant, and Politico.com's White House reporter Nia-Malika Henderson to make up our roundtable.

Finally, Schieffer will have a look at what life in Washington's power belt is really like.
