Second Cup Cafe: Ralph's World

In the early 90s Chicago-based musician Ralph Covert made a name for himself with his indie-rock group, The Bad Examples.

Then in 1995, after the birth of his daughter, Ralph decided to make music for children, not as a career move, but for fun. The result was Ralph's World.

Now 5 albums and a DVD later, "Ralph is still having fun, and has turned Ralph's World into quite a career. His latest CD is called "The Amazing Adventures of Kid Astro."

On The Saturday Early Shoe, Ralph's World make a return appearance on the Second Cup Cafe.

The Ralph's World official Web site says the new CD "is dedicated to the Kid Astro ... inside all of us, doing our best to save the universe while getting to soccer practice on time."
