"Scrubs" star Donald Faison is engaged

(CBS) Donald Faison has popped the question to longtime girlfriend Cacee Cobb.

The former "Scrubs" star hinted at his newly-engaged status via Twitter on Friday.

Faison tweeted: "If you like it then you better put a Ring on it. -Beyonce."

Cobb retweeted the message, adding, "If she likes it then she better say YES!!"

Faison's "Scrubs" co-star Zach Braff offered the couple his congratulations.

"Congrats to @donald_faison and @caceecobb on their engagement," he wrote. "Just wish I was there to run around you both with sparklers."

Cobb is a friend and former personal assistant of Jessica Simpson. She appeared with the singer on her reality show "The Price of Beauty."

Simpson tweeted a photo of Cobb showing off her engagement ring, writing, "Congrats @caceecobb! I love u and ur man!"

This is the first marriage for Cobb, 33, and second for Faison, 37, "Access Hollywood" reports. The actor has a son from a previous relationship.
