Sara Maria Torres, Texas woman, accused of having sex with her daughter's 14-year-old ex-boyfriend, report says

(CBS) Sugar Land, Texas - A 33-year-old woman is accused of having sex with her daughter's 14-year-old ex-boyfriend, according to CBS affiliate KHOU.

Sarah Maria Torres was reportedly arrested on July 16 and charged with sexual assault of a child. She was booked onto the Fort Bend County Jail with a bond set to $150,000.

According to the station, the alleged sexual assault occurred on May 23 when the boy stayed home from school. Both lived in the same neighborhood.

Police were notified of the incident when the boy told a family member about the alleged sexual encounter with his ex-girlfriend's mom.

The boy's mother reportedly provided authorities with evidence believed to be connected with the assault.

Torres, a mother of three, owns a day care center, according to KHOU.
