Samantha Ronson charged in DUI case
(CBS) Celebrity DJ Samantha Ronson has been charged with drunken driving in connection with her arrest earlier this month outside Baker, Calif.
The San Bernardino County District Attorney's Office said Tuesday that Ronson, who is Lindsay Lohan's ex-girlfriend, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and having a blood alcohol level of .08 or above. The charges were filed on Friday.
The 33-year-old was stopped on Aug. 1 by the California Highway Patrol for speeding. She was given a breathalyzer test and booked for driving under the influence.
Police said she was on her way home from a DJ gig in Las Vegas when she was stopped.
