Sales Rep: World's Sexiest Career?

I'm not talking about the cache of the job title. Let's face it, a business card with "sales rep" does not generally impress the opposite sex.

Even so, anybody who's been around business for awhile knows that the sales team gets (by far) the most "action" in the romance department.

I have a theory why this is true.

If you're good at sales, you're good at reading other people. You're good at relationships. You probably take pains with your appearance. You've cultivated a positive attitude. You truly like people and so they like you in return. You know how to spot an opportunity, overcome objections, and (especially) how to close the deal.

Combine all of the above with the undeniable fact that you meet a LOT of people and is it any wonder that sales reps are seldom alone on Saturday night?

Anyway, that's what I think.
