Russian Envoy: Al Qaeda Supporters Enrolling in European Colleges

Al Qaeda terrorist organization is enrolling its "supporters" in higher education institutions across Europe in order to produce terrorists with knowledge of nuclear issues, Anatoly Safonov, Russian President Medvedev's special enjoy on terrorism told reporters in Moscow today, according to a report by Russia's RIA Novosti quoted on the Arab news website Elaph.

"Al Qaeda is selecting special youths, sending them to study physics, chemistry and biology in some of the best European Universities. Some of our European partners have shared with us information about specific cases where individuals affiliated to al Qaeda where detected in certain universities," Safonov was quoted as saying.
