Rue McClanahan Remembered by "Golden Girls" Co-Star Betty White and Other Celebrities
NEW YORK (CBS) Rue McClanahan, the actress best known for playing Blanche Devereaux on "The Golden Girls," is being remembered by her former co-star Betty White and other celebrities following her death on Thursday at age 76.
White called McClanahan a close and dear friend.
"I treasure our relationship," she said in a statement. "It hurts more than I ever thought it would, if that's even possible."
