Reserve Your About.me Page to Stake Out the Next Big Thing in Online Business Cards

What URL does your business card point to? What does your Web site's "about" page look like? How do you steer people to your various online presences? If it's important for your online reputation to look timely and sharp, then perhaps it's time to ditch your Geocities look-alike page and step into the 21st Century.

There are all sorts of ways to bring the business card into the digital realm. It's too early to make your own site at About.me, but they're actively taking reservations for usernames, which will determine URLs, right now. So if you have even a passing interest in getting your own About.me page, run over there today and reserve your name. I've already got mine, which is something of a minor miracle (since Dave Johnson is among the most common names on the planet). [via Digital Inspiration]
