Remember Where You Parked with G-Park for iPhone

In honor of today's iPhone 3G launch, here's a clever new app that taps the new model's GPS capabilities: G-Park, which helps you navigate back to where you parked your car. All you do is tap the Park Me button (optionally adding details about where you parked). Later, when you want to find your way back, tap Where Did I Park? G-Park launches Google Maps and provides turn-by-turn directions to your car.

The app will also work with original iPhones and the iPod touch, the obviously the latter requires omnipresent Wi-Fi to be effective. No word yet on whether G-Park will be free, though I definitely think it should be. You could accomplish much the same thing using just Google Maps. [via Gizmodo]
