Red, Blue and Purple In The Aisles

If you're trying to figure out which way you should vote in next year's election, the Norman Lear Center out at USC has taken a look at what the media diets of "Reds," "Blues" and "Purples" consist of.
According to the study, action-adventure viewers skew conservative, while the blue staters lean towards comedies. Does this mean that as "Fred Clause" goes, so goes the nation? God, I hope not. (Sorry, Vince. I still think you're money, though.)
As for the purples, interestingly enough, "they don't seek out entertainment with political themese and they are far less likely to read books about politics or current events than other people" -- suggesting that moderates don't look at their entertainment world through a political lens, but those who identify themselves as one side or the other do.
And everybody likes football. And "House."
Give the study a look and see where you rate for Yippee-ki-yourself.
