Realtor kidnapped, held at gunpoint while on the job

ELK GROVE, Calif. - A realtor who expected to show a home to a potential buyer instead ended up handcuffed and held captive by a man who put a gun in her face, police in Elk Grove, Calif. say, reports CBS Sacramento.

"When officers first arrived, she was visibly shaken," Elk Grove Police spokesman Chris Trim said of the victim.

For about an hour, police say the man held her captive. He then left in a truck and was still on the loose late last week.

"The agent exited the home, flagged down a security officer who was passing by, and he transported her to a Walmart...and we were notified," Trim said.

"Fortunately the victim was unharmed... " Trim continued.

Trim said the realtor was able to get a good look at the suspect's face.

"She did have an appointment with him so we do have some leads to work on and we are diligently following up on those right now," Trim said.
