Rachael Leigh Cook and Daniel Gillies expecting a baby

There's a baby on the way for actors Rachael Leigh Cook and Daniel Gillies.

The "She's All That" star and her "The Vampire Diaries" actor husband are expecting their first child, People confirmed Wednesday.

"Thanks for the love you guys," Cook, 33, tweeted.

Gillies, 37, added on his own Twitter page: "Thank you everyone. We are delighted."

Cook currently stars on the TV series "Perception," and Gillies will appear on the upcoming "Vampire Diaries" spin-off, "The Originals." The couple married in 2004.
