Former Vice President Dan Quayle will endorse Mitt Romney on Tuesday in Paradise Valley, Ariz.

Romney is scheduled to meet with supporters in Paradise Valley, near Phoenix, where Quayle has a home. Quayle's son, Republican Ben Quayle, is the district's freshman congressman.

The meeting comes less than a week after Romney met with his "good friend," former President George H.W. Bush, with whom Quayle served. Representatives from both parties said that the meeting was not in hopes of securing an endorsement, just a casual get-together.

Arizona Sen. John McCain, who beat Romney for the Republican nomination in the 2008 race, has said that he will not be endorsing any of the primary candidates. Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer also has indicated she will not endorse a candidate.
