Progeny Systems Invests in Microsoft ERP Products

Back last year we wrote about how Microsoft was competing with Deltek and other companies to develop and sell Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software. Now word comes that Progeny Systems Corp has purchased Microsoft's Dynamics NAV 2009 program to replace its existing financial and production management software. These two prior separate systems were made by Deltek and ManEx respectively. By buying one package to do both jobs it will allow smoother integration and eliminate possible problems between the two systems. The purchase of a Microsoft product will also allow easier integration with other Microsoft software like Office and Exchange.
