President Obama's Schedule Today (9/21/10)

In the morning, President Obama will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. The president will then meet with senior advisers in the Oval Office. Mr. Obama will have lunch with Vice President Biden in the Private Dining Room in the afternoon.

Later, Mr. Obama will award the Medal of Honor to Chief Master Sergeant Richard L. Etchberger, of the U.S. Air Force, for conspicuous gallantry. Etchberger will receive the Medal of Honor posthumously for his actions in combat on March 11, 1968, in Laos.

The president and the vice president will meet with Secretary of Defense Robert Gates later in the afternoon.
