President Obama's Schedule Today (1/18/10)
In the morning, President Obama will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing and meet with senior advisers in the Oval Office.
Later in the morning, the president and First Lady Michelle Obama will participate in a service event in the Washington, D.C. area. In the afternoon, Mr. Obama will host a conversation with a small group of African-American seniors and their grandchildren on the legacy of the civil rights movement in the Roosevelt Room.
In the evening, the president and the first lady will attend the "Let Freedom Ring" concert at the Kennedy Center featuring nationally renowned artists and choir members from Washington area churches. The president will deliver remarks.
