Texas Police Searching for Suspect Who Allegedly Forced Pregnant Woman to Rob Bank

MISSOURI CITY, Texas (CBS/KHOU) Texas police are looking for a suspect who reportedly abducted a pregnant woman at gunpoint and forced her to rob a Wells Fargo Bank.

According to CBS affiliate KHOU, a 911 dispatcher received a call Friday from an eight months-pregnant woman who said she and her young son had been abducted from a grocery store parking lot by a man in Missouri City, about 20 miles from Houston.

The victim told police she was then forced at gunpoint to drive to a local Wells Fargo Bank and commit robbery while the assailant sat in the car with her son.

After the robbery, the suspect told the woman to drive to a residential area where he got out of the car and fled on foot, reports KHOU.

The victim and her son were not harmed.

She described the suspect as a black male, about 6 feet tall with short black hair. He was last seen wearing a stocking on his head and a white and black checkered shirt.
