Powerful Web Collaboration That Won't Clog Your Inbox

Email generally works best as a one-to-one communication tool, but that usually doesn't stop most of us from adding a dozen people on the "To" line. Sometimes it seems unavoidable -- you need a way to communicate with a group. What if I told you there was an innovative tool that let you carry on these conversations outside of your email inbox, reducing clutter and letting you communicate more effectively?

ccLoop is a Web-based mailing list service that lets you create multiple mailing groups and access the message threads both from the Web and your email inbox.

Here's how it works: Set up a free account by entering your email and a password. You can then create any number of mailing lists and invite people to join them. When you send mail to the mailing group -- from your own email inbox or from the ccLoop Web site -- messages to all recipients. Of course, anyone can reply to the group as well.

If you don't want these mailing lists cluttering your inbox, you can configure ccLoop so messages only appear in the Web interface. Or, if you prefer, you can get a daily digest.

ccLoop is surprisingly convenient. There's nothing to download or install, and the service lets you easily generate any number of email groups that you can send messages to with a single click -- making it a snap to set up threads about current projects or even microblog to your entire organization. And, of course, do it all without adding to the noise in your inbox.
