Podcaster Odeo Acquires Blog Search Engine Blogdigger; Plans Broader Relaunch

Odeo, the podcast network acquired by SonicMountain last year, has acquired blog search engine Blogdigger. Deal terms were not announced. Blogdigger was an early player in blog search which hasn't made a lot of noise lately, though is reportedly profitable. The acquisition is intended to help relaunch Odeo as a platform of audio, video and text, moving it beyond its core podcasting business. That relaunch is expected in April, says ReadWriteWeb.
