Playful mother lion decides her cub needs a bath
(CBS News) Kids love to run around outside all day getting sweaty and dirty, and eventually a mother or father has to step in and say it's time to hit the bath and get cleaned up. Well, it seems that same principle applies in the animal kingdom as you'll see in the very cute video above.
The adorable clip from 2011 of a playful mother lion trying to get her kids clean was posted by YouTube user pvreditor who writes:
I'm thinking after the mother saw how ineffective her licking efforts were on the first cub and about to be on the second, she felt she had no choice but to take more drastic measures. That or it was just a very cute caught-on-tape accident. Either way, an adorable animal antics video to brighten your day.On Feb. 13, 2011, at the National Zoo in Washington, DC, I watched as a female adult lion began to groom a cub and knocked the cub into the water. Cute! The little guy wasn't hurt but you can see that he wasn't too happy about it!
