Peter Kostis

Peter Kostis joined CBS Sports in 1992 as an announcer for the network's golf coverage. He also has served as the USA Network's lead golf analyst since 1990.

Kostis is recognized worldwide for his teaching ability. As a member of Golf Digest's teaching staff for more than 15 years, he has had many famous students, including Steve Elkington, Bernhard Langer, Mark Calcavecchia, and Deb Richards.

He has helped celebrities in their pursuit of mastering the game, including Kevin Costner, Maury Povich, Miami Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino, Baseball Hall of Fame member Mike Schmidt, and Jim Rice.

Kostis was born December 23, 1946 in Sanford, Maine. He and his wife, Sandy, have two children.
