Host Kaley Cuoco promised the audience and home viewers an "awesome" night when she opened Wednesday night's People Choice Awards in Los Angeles.

It was "The Big Bang Theory" star's second consecutive year hosting the event, one of the first award shows of 2013. She opened it with a montage showing her in scenes from hit 2012 movies like "The Hunger Games" and "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" before battling zombies dancing to "Gangnam Style."

Cuoco, who made news earlier in the day when it was announced she would join William Shatner in a new Priceline ad, was also up for an award -- favorite comedic TV actress -- but she lost to Lea Michele of "Glee." However, "The Big Bang Theory" did claim the award for favorite network TV comedy and Cuoco joined the rest of the cast on stage.

Tell us, what did you think of Cuoco's performance as host? Was the show "awesome" and was she largely responsible for making it that way?
