Tributes pour in from family, friends for Peaches Geldof

Tributes and remembrances for Peaches Geldof are pouring in following news of her death on Monday.

The 25-year-old model, writer and TV personality was pronounced dead at her home in Wrotham, southeast of London. Her "unexplained sudden death" is being investigated by British police, and an autopsy is scheduled to take place Wednesday.

Her father, musician Bob Geldof, released a statement saying his family is "beyond pain."

"She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us. Writing 'was' destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable?" he said in a statement. "We loved her and will cherish her forever. How sad that sentence is. Tom and her sons Astala and Phaedra will always belong in our family, fractured so often, but never broken."

Her husband, Tom Cohen, also said: "My beloved wife Peaches was adored by myself and her two sons Astala and Phaedra and I shall bring them up with their mother in their hearts every day. We shall love her forever."

On Instagram, her older sister, Fifi Geldof, posted a childhood photo and wrote, "My beautiful baby sister... Gone but never forgotten. I love you, Peaches x."

Other celebrities took to Twitter to pay tribute, including Simon Cowell, Sharon Osbourne and singer Lily Allen.
