Paris Hilton Tweets About Attempted Break-in

LOS ANGELES (CBS/KCAL) Los Angeles police arrested a man who allegedly tried to break into Paris Hilton's Mulholland Estates home Tuesday morning, reports CBS affiliate KCAL.

According to Los Angeles Police Department spokesman Richard French, 31-year-old Nathan Lee Parada was apprehended and charged with attempted burglary, states the Los Angeles Times.

The burglary allegedly occurred around 6:30 a.m., when Hilton witnessed the knife-wielding suspect banging on the windows of her home from her security camera and immediately notified police, according to celebrity gossip site TMZ.

Once the suspect was in custody, the rail-thin socialite notified her host of followers via Twitter, stating, "So Scary, just got woken up to a guy trying to break into my house holding 2 big knifes. Cops are here arresting him," reports TMZ.

The incident is under investigation.
