CBS EVEREST CAMERA GIVEAWAY NO PURCHASE NECESSARY - OPEN TO U.S. RESIDENTS RESIDING IN THE U.S. ONLY WHO ARE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER. VOID IN FLORIDA

#1 GIVEAWAY SUMMARY: Beginning May 18, 1998, at 8:00PM ET, eligible Internet users will be able to enter the CBS Everest Camera Giveaway by filling out the registration form and submitting it to CBS.

The entry form is located at the giveaway page within the CBS site (http://www.cbs.com/) on the Internet's World Wide Web. Winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries submitted.

#2 HOW TO ENTER: Eligible Internet users who visit the CBS web site anytime between 8:00 PM Eastern Time (ET) May 18, 1998 and 11:59 PM ET June 1, 1998 will have the opportunity to register and enter the CBS Everest Camera Giveaway.

All entrants will be required to successfully register. Entrant must complete all data requested on registration and entry screens located at the CBS Everest Camera Giveaway area within the CBS web site. You may register to win only once.

#3 CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: Entries with incomplete name and address information are void. By entering, entrants acknowledge compliance with these official rules including all eligibility requirements. All entries become the property of the sponsor. Neither CBS Corporation, CBS Broadcast Inc., Icon or any Internet access providers are responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry of registration or entry information, human error, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software or any combination thereof, inability to access CBS web site or any other error or malfunction which may occur. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void.

#4 DETERMINATION OF WINNERS: HOW WE GET THE WINNERS:
The winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received by 11:59 PM EDT June 1, 1998 at the
CBS web site. The winner will be selected on or about June 10, 1998. The random drawing will be conducted by CBS whose decisions are final on matters relating to this giveaway. Winners will be notified by postal mail. Your odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received . If in the judges' opinion there is any suspected or evidence of actual electronic or non-electronic tampering with any portion of the giveaway, or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the giveaway, the judges reserve the right to terminate the giveaway and conduct a drawing to award the prizes using all eligible entries received as of the termination date. Should the giveaway be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, notice will be posted on the CBS Grammy area in the CBS web site.

#5 PRIZES: Grand Prize - One (1) Sony Digital Mavica Camera approximate retail value: $599) No cash alternative for
prize.

#6 WHO CAN ENTER: This giveaway is open to U.S. resients, residing in the U.S.(except residents of Florida), 18 years of age or older. Not eligible to enter are residents of Florida and employees and their immediate families, including household members of CBS Corporation, CBS Broadcasting Inc., Icon, any Internet access providers, their divisions, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising/promotion agencies. This giveaway is sponsored by CBS Broadcasting Inc. and is subject to all federal, state and local laws. Void where prohibited. Winners agree that the sponsor, their affiliates , their agencies and subsidiaries employees shall not be liable for injury, loss or damage of any kind resulting from participating in this promotion or from the acceptance or use of any prize awarded. By entry into this giveaway, winner consents to the use of his/her name, and/or photograph for promotional purposes, including online announcements without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. Sponsor reserves right to verify eligibility qualifications of winners. This Giveaway is governed by U.S. law.

#7 WHO WON: The name of the prize winner can be requested by sending email from a valid email address to marketing@cbs.com with the subject "Everest Camera Giveaway" between June 10, 1998 and June 30, 1998.
