Obama Hits Romney on Illegals
MANCHESTER, N.H. -- During the Q&A session at a town hall meeting in Manchester, Obama spoke about immigration and took a rare jab at Mitt Romney.
He spoke about how difficult it would be to deport all illegal immigrants. "We'd have to clear out some of the prisons to make room for somebody who's a housekeeper at Mitt Romney's house."
He followed the comment with "that was just a joke."
However, Obama added, "No, just because, he's an example of somebody who 'ah we gotta be all tough' but my lawn, you know, is important," referring to the landscaping company Romney recently fired because they employed illegal immigrants.
Interestingly, a voter later thanked him for running a positive campaign.
