(CBS/AP) NEW YORK- A Staten Island woman allegedly gave an undercover agent she thought was a hit man a $400 down payment to kill two doctors and two nurses she blamed for her father's death.

According to court documents, Morena Costello wanted the Staten Island University Hospital employees "to suffer like her father suffered."

Costello is charged with murder-for-hire. She will undergo a mental-health examination.

Costello's lawyer said she had been extremely distraught since her father's death last January. He entered the hospital with heart problems.
