Not Ready to Wiki at Work? Try Google Docs.

If you haven't mastered the Wiki yet, but like the idea of sharing online documents and spreadsheets with your colleagues, your Google account is the gateway to several easy-to-use tools. The Google Docs and Spreadsheets homepage offers a guided tour, but Microsoft Word and Excel users should feel comfortable with the familiar icons for editing and formatting. (Or import your files if you don't want to re-build them.)

You can invite others to view or edit your online files, and unlike Word or Excel, multiple people can work on the same file simultaneously. And there's no need to fret about unwanted changes, edits are tracked by user, so they're easily followed. It's probably not the place to keep your sensitive data, as there are some security issues, but it's perfect for sharing files without the hassle of checking to make sure you have the latest version.
