N.J. cop sues deli, cook, over "hairy bagel"

(CBS) It appears one New Jersey police officer really got an "everything bagel."

Everything... including hair.

Naturally, it's led to a hair suit.

According to the Reuters News Service, Evesham Township patrolman Jeremy Merck is suing a delicatessen, and the cook, who admitted stuffing body hair into the officer's bagel sandwich. (Yum)

Why would Ryan Burke, the cook at Good Foods to Go in Marlton, N.J. do such a tasteless thing?

According to the officer's lawsuit, it was an act of revenge - because patrolman Merck had arrested Burke for a traffic violation.

This "bad bagel" incident is said to have occurred in February 2010.

The lawsuit seeks unspecified damages from the deli and the cook.

And next time hold the hair.
