He later tweeted out promotional messages to promote some of his friends who were going to be DJ-ing in the area, reiterating his "back to business" mentality, despite still being in the hospital.

Cannon and his wife Mariah Carey took their twins to Aspen for the holidays. Less than 24 hours before Cannon checked into the hospital, he posted photos of the family bundled up while walking through the streets of Aspen.

It was Carey who broke the news about Cannon's hospital visit. "Please pray for Nick as he's fighting to recover from a mild kidney failure," she tweeted on Wednesday, noting that her hubby was in a lot of pain.

Since, Cannon has kept a positive attitude tweeting Thursday, "You know me...I will be a'ight."
